Dance artist Joanna teaches an A-B repeating pattern dance.

Materials

• A moderate amount of personal space.

Activity Notes

• Learn a series of movements in a set order. There will be a Set A and Set B. Rehearse and repeat in A-B-A-B order.

Artist Notes

• Students can use these and their own movements to create their own repeating patterns.
• This can also be performed as a growing pattern if students rehearse with their own choreography. Try as an A-B-A-C-A-D pattern.
