Positive Thoughts for Creativity and Focus
Mindfulness, Embodiment, and Drama > Health and Wellness
Description
Positive thinking plants the seeds for positive outcomes.
Activity Notes
- Students will learn how planting gardens and farm fields can be a metaphor (comparison) for planting thoughts in our minds. We can choose to plant positive seeds/thoughts in our mind garden.
- Students learn how thoughts become beliefs and beliefs become behaviours. We have the power to stop negative thoughts and replace them with good thought seeds that help us feel good.
Artist Notes
- Examples of positive thought seeds:
“I am able to succeed because I am doing good work.”
“As I know more, I grow more.”
“Being myself is enough.”
“I can choose positive thoughts that help me feel good.”
“Asking for help makes me strong.”
